Recontextualizing Lebanese denominational practices on behalf of women in KAFA discourse

In a country like Lebanon, it is not possible to oppose domestic violence against women without confronting religious institutions. The discourse of feminist organizations therefore often refers to religious discourse. We try to demonstrate this by analyzing the open letter addressed by KAFA to the Lebanese president the day before the promulgation of Law 293 on domestic violence, as well as documents that provide context.
