The “chez-soi” in Sandrine Bessora and Léonora Miano’s Novels

This contribution starts from the observation that the advent of global flows updates an era where the individual frees himself from a sedentary existence to constitute himself as a subject of travel whose existence is written in movement and on the road. This process shakes up habits and perceptions of place and “chez-soi”. Based on a few novels by Bessora and Miano, this contribution explores the issues related to the particular (re)configuration of the home through the mobility of the characters.
