The Study of the History of Construction in Portugal Between the singular and the universal

Despite some pioneering studies, the field has only appeared very recently in Portugal. This overview has two stages, which examine first the institutional aspect and then the content of the research carried out in the history of construction in the country. Outside a few classes, national (Lisbon) and international (Braga and Porto) meetings have been the main source of federating researchers in the field since 2010, opening them to Portuguese-speaking countries. A national academic society has just been created (2015).
