This collection examining the reception of Rabelais’s work, from Jean de La Fontaine to Patrick Chamoiseau, draws on the corpus of little known and sometimes unheard-of readers, pastiche writers, translators, editors, and disciples of the Master from diverse parts of the globe, including France, North America, the Caribbean, the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, and Germany.
