The profitability of uberized urban delivery firms

The increase in the number of delivered parcels attracts new players in urban freight transport, especially in the last mile deliveries. The economic model of these new players is based on uberization. In this article, we evaluate the profitability of this economic model, in terms of costs and revenues available or estimated. The main result shows a variable profitability, depending on the number of deliveries, the mode of transport and the distance.
