Brazilian Theatre as Seen by the History of Theatre Professions (Ensaiador, Diretor, Encenador) A Genetic Approach to Creative Processes and its Production Methods

In the history of Brazilian theatre, the professions of the ensaiador, director and incenador can be identified. They became the focus of a reflection on the changes that theatre has undergone from the end of the 19^th century to nowadays. The analysis of these three positions provides a better understanding of the singularities of their practices with regard to the relationship between text and stage as well as the different social functions attributed to the theatrical art in Brazil.
