Covid-19 mapping from a physicist’s perspective

With an aggregation in physical sciences, Patrice Abry defended a dissertation in signal processing at the Advanced Normal School of Lyon (Ens de Lyon) in 1994. He is Director of Research at France’s National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and director of the Rhone-Alps Complex Systems Institute (IXXI). In 2020, he received the Monpetit-INRIA Prize awarded by the French Academy of Sciences. He is interested in analyzing and modeling scale invariance phenomena and their applications.
