Through the study of the images and the processes implemented by Gregory Crewdson, this text questions the artistic sublimation and the sublime, it being understood that these manifest themselves by this cinematographic condensation in a fixed plane which characterizes the great nocturnal landscapes of the photographer, but also, the pictorial use of light and colors, as well as a talent to make sensitive the human fragility and the absurdities of contemporary society.
