Planetary defense, the individual, and the European Union Perspectives inspired by Don’t Look Up

Don’t Look Up highlights the legal implications of a hypothetical but realistic situation involving the threat from an asteroid or comet. From a European perspective, this study explores the European Union’s planetary defense policy, its consistency, as well as the guaranties offered to Europeans in terms of information sharing and initiatives to reduce risk, while considering its leading role in confronting cosmic risk.
