  • Abstract: Election, as a more or less organized and regulated process of selection, of choice, leads to individuals being assigned a particular status: that of elected officials. These are often, but not exclusively, political representatives. From studying the representation of these elected officials in different media, it becomes apparent that being elected is far from straightforward: the position must be won, the job must be learned, and the vocation must be experienced.
