This article traces Colette’s work as lead editor of the Collection Colette at Ferenczi et fils between 1923 and 1925. This analysis focuses on the writers’ Collection, emphasizing in particular Colette’s campaign to publicize the Collection, and even to her writers nominated for literary prizes. It briefly sketches the destiny of these texts today. In revealing this under-studied aspect of Colette’s contribution to French literature, it hopes to show another profession of this writer.
