The French Revolution has a knock-on effect in bordering countries, including French-speaking Switzerland; in 1793, the situation has reached a critical point. These events prompt Isabelle de Charrière to write the Lettres trouvées dans la neige (1793), which show her thorough point of view on politics. This paper intends to prove that the Lettres are the work of a pamphleteer.
