We follow a line of reflection suggested by the study of La Guzla and exploit the image of the griffin from fiction found in a letter to Mme de La Rochejaquelein to attempt a rereading of Lokis. The writer, divided between the disbelief and the pleasure that beautiful stories arouse in him, developed a set of paradoxical logical procedures, intended to establish the fiction; beyond that, developed in encrypted terms, there is a theory of fiction understood as form.
