Mobilism and relationalism in the chapter Des cannibales by Montaigne

The essay, as created by Montaigne, is a method capable of examining and correcting itself. However, the French thinker avoids, for several reasons, to bring the discussion about the definition of his concepts to the forefront of his text. This is what we intend to do here from the analysis of fundamental notions for the structuring and development of essayistic philosophy, which are linked in the Essays to the representation of the New World and the Renaissance Amerindian peoples.
