Versified fragments and reminiscences of measured verse weave the surviving elegies from an inner space where the spirit was never confined. The world’s garden has collected the scattered fragments of the multiple poem, full of a desire for coherence to rediscover the voice of the seasons, the gold of past time, the simple brotherhood or the whole welcome of a vocation; both are elegiac: what occured and what remained open, awaiting accomplishment.
