This article aims to examine « the end » of metaphysics: our era is both that of its destruction and its triumph. The success of metaphysics, however glorious, is unsustainable: it has led us to the death of our ecosystems, to the development of nuclear energy and cybernetics, to the epistemological supremacy of objectification. At a time where metaphysics seems to be reaching an impasse, modern and contemporary poetry have aimed to propose a new ethos, creating new ways of inhabiting the world.
