“At the Break of Dawn” The Psychology of Love in Pedro Salinas

The article focuses on the development of Spanish poet Pedro Salinas’ love psychology through the parallel reading of some poems and letters, written for his American “muse”: Katherine Whitmore. Their encounter took place in Madrid in July 1932. Thanks to this deep love, Pedro Salinas will reach the heights of twentieth-century poetry.
