Based on an analysis of the cry as described by the French philosopher Henri Maldiney, this article considers poetry as the opening of an entire world. Such a world is not an ideal one, separated from the world where our existence is engaged. The latter responds to the former and offers it a particular place where it can manifest itself and be offered in the light of its own origin.
