Abstract: In this article, we discuss the territorial dimension of CE and its sustainability. First, we show how approaches to CE and territorial development, which were largely independent, have come closer together and tend to hybridize. Secondly, we question the validity of a circular approach at the territorial level, and above all its virtuous character, as well as its degree of sustainability.
