Abstract: More than ever, individual responsibility is being set up as central driving force both for flexicurity by public policies and economic performance by firms. This shift leads to reflect on the role that the organization, envisaged as a link between work activities and societal dynamics, is likely to play. The articles in this issue show the importance of the organization’s role to understand professions and occupational paths’ dynamic.
