Économie appliquée was created in 1946 by François Perroux. The aim of the magazine is twofold. On the one hand, it aims to promote the development of pluralism in economic sciences and on the other hand, to support the development of theories of socio-economic dynamics. The journal is pluralistic and intends to promote a methodological confrontation and its interpretation. Économie appliquée remains a reference for economic sciences.
