Abstract: This paper focuses on francophone writings from the Comoros which have been developing during the last decades and which are hybrid spaces where diverse influences are at work. Beyond French literature as a resource, authors usually dig deep in the cultural background from the archipelago while building strong connections with francophone literatures especially from Africa and the Caribbean. This results in a hybrid literature that conveys the multilayered identity of the Comoros archipelago.
