Abstract: The “reading” of the dictionary and the encyclopaedia opens up an extraordinary perspective for us. We discover that we are in the midst of communication theory, in a unitary linguistics. Both texts are speeches, because everything is speech, according to the system of signs. The cult of language is changing.
