Abstract: A part of the Verticales catalog since the beginning, documentary literature brings together diverse writing practices, at the borders between recording reality and fiction, between self-narrative and investigation. This interview goes behind the scenes of the creative process with two writers, François Beaune and Jane Sautière: from gathering stories to editing fragments, their dialogue highlights the aesthetic, ethical, and political stakes surrounding the writing of “true stories.”
