Abstract: In Rosenthal’s work, the narrative noticeably unfolds in the arborescence of a writing that is an experience of time, in the very jubilation of the act of writing that is conscious of always losing itself as much as it locates itself. In On n’est pas là pour disparaître (2009) and Toutes les femmes sont des Aliens (2016), an arborescence is where the trace of time is not lost, which explores the creative possibilities of the paradigmatic verticality of the sentence and its syntagmatic horizontality.
