Abstract: Giraudoux’s presence in French literature textbooks in Italy is very minor. The aim of this study is to analyze French literature textbooks for Italian high school students from the 1990s to the present day, in particular looking at the presence of Giraudoux in the texts, the space attributed to him, and the roles described (novelist, playwright, critic). This research wants to increase authors’ and publishers’ awareness of this because Giraudoux has not won the success he deserves.
