Abstract: This article presents an overview of the reception of Jean Giraudoux’s 1943 film Les Anges du péché, based on the press collection preserved at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, as well as the results of a search of several sites. It is divided into three parts: the (anonymous) press collection from 1943; the Supplement to the press collection, bringing together articles that were not compiled in it; and the postwar period (up to 2020). A final graph illustrates the frequency with which the title appeared in the press from 1943 to 2020.
