Abstract: The story “Nuit à Châteauroux” (1920) is presented here in a dialogical form. This “exercise” aims to show the theatrical or even cinematic quality of Giraudoux's writing from that time, well before the first play, and to arouse in directors the desire to appropriate this text to show it in the theater.
