In the early Twentieth Century, two Japanese, Horiguchi Daïgaku (1892-1981) and Yaso Saïjo (1892-1970), respectively attempted to gather stories related to Verlaine but it was in vain. This article is followed by Maurice Hamel’s story about Georges Verlaine, published in 1924 by Comœdia.
