A brief, panoramic, and partial patchwork of Belgian poetry

This article does not offer a history of Belgian poetry but rather an informative overview of the unique and varied careers of some of its many actors. After exploring the general context, with a focus on certain linguistic and historical particularities, the article then provides a brief presentation of around fifteen authors who have played an important role in what has been achieved over the last thirty years or so in different parts of Belgium.
