The Origins of Christianity: Event, Memory and Faith I. Pauline Christianity

Questions of method are at the heart of scientific ethos. (Recent) shifts in the study of the New Testament provide an opportunity to revisit these enquiries. Spread over two successive issues of the review, this study tackles the subject, defending a threefold approach to biblical literature: historical, memorial and theological. After a brief review of the research, the first part of the study illustrates the reasons for this approach, starting from Pauline Christianity.
