The question of time in André Malraux’s work is not a simple undertaking because there are several ways of approaching it: besides the historical time that the novels offer, there is also the non-time of art, which constitutes one of the main avenues of the writer’s aesthetic reflection. It is in this context that this article studies the interpenetration of these temporalities in the form of a stroll through the museum and the library: as temporal and, at the same time, imaginary places.
