  • Abstract: “Constraint”, for Oulipo writers, is the engine of literary creation. In this contribution, based on an extension of the Oulipo aesthetic and method S+7, the author considers its pedagogical potential regarding the learning of a foreign language. The dictionary, in this light, reveals itself to be a privileged device for literary creation and thus practice of creative writing.
