Michel Houellebecq, l’écrivain le plus important de la Norvège ?

  • Publication type: Article from a collective work
  • Collective work: Lectures croisées de l’œuvre de Michel Houellebecq
  • Author: Uvsløkk (Geir)
  • Abstract: Before January 2015, Michel Houellebecq was little known by the larger public in Norway, and the reception of his work was mostly characterized by a conscientious reading of the translated texts. However, with the publication of Soumission, these two tendencies change : Houellebecq obtains more readers and becomes one of the most important writers in Norway, and superficial and simplistic lectures appear alongside the analyses of scholars and literary critics.
