  • Abstract: In Latin America, Colombia and Mexico stand as a unique reference in terms of receiving foreign literary works. Today, in these countries, essays specifically dedicated to the work of Michel Houellebecq do not exist. In order to provide an overview of receiving Michel Houllebecq’s work in these countries, we are going to look at five articles published between 2006 and 2013, and which represent novels, essays and poems by the French author.
