Les Français et le principe de différence

  • Publication type: Article from a collective work
  • Collective work: Le Sens de la justice, une « utopie réaliste » ?. Rawls et ses critiques
  • Author: Forsé (Michel)
  • Abstract: On the basis of the “Perception of inequalities and feelings of justice” inquiry carried out in France in 2009, Michel Forsé examines the sociological pertinence of the Rawlsian principle of difference. His interdisciplinary approach leads him to support, from a methodological point of view, the necessity of connecting theoretical reflections on social justice with empirical judgements on the just, despite the procedural and formalist character of Rawlsian principles.
