Proust’s La Recherche From life to the oeuvre, from the oeuvre to life

The hypothesis put forward here is that Marcel Proust is the narrator of the novel: not because he recounts events experienced and knowledge acquired by the author, but because the author lives, experiences, and learns through him. As if La Recherche became his only existence, where things could still happen, where there could be adventure, upheaval, and moments of drama. Proust truly entered the realm of La Recherche, inhabiting it durably and definitively.
