In this article, Bruno Blanckeman resituates the work of Pierre Senges in the currents of erudition in the twentieth century. He shows in particular that the explicit and voluntarily melancholic erudition of Pascal Quignard and Pierre Michon is followed here by an ironic and playful relationship with knowledge. Erudition functions in the work of Pierre Senges less as a confirmation than as fictional possibility.
