Engaged at the time of the Algerian war, and working in a factory shortly before May '68, Leslie Kaplan has produced a body of work which exists at the intersection of two stories, personal and collective, and two languages, French and English. It attests to a playful attention to the work of the labourer, language, and the unconscious.
