To constitute the Jeus Poetiques, Étienne Pasquier transformed verses from his youth, published at the time of the Pléiade, into a poetic meditation on the avatars of desire throughout a life. In them, the world appears like a stage and poetry the ruse that enables people to free themselves of their passions by making light of them.
