The practice of drag enables us to question our approach to gender as a social construction and image. Wanting to go beyond expected representations, certain artists use their attributes to make several genders coexist simultaneously, or, on the contrary, to subvert them to the point of making them disappear. From club kids to drag queers and genderfuck via horror, artists draw on popular culture to call for a blurring of identities that has become a creative source.
