It’s their affection for Cendrars that links André Beucler, Frédéric Jacques Temple and Olivier Salon, three writers belonging to different generations and not easily comparable in terms of creation. Only the first two met the Transsibérien’s poet but both agree on the fact that he is a founding figure of modern poetry. In their own adventures, they gave him the place of a major witness or of a privileged fellow traveller.
