Constitutional litigation is rarely shown on the big screen, beyond a few American films on the subject. In France, such representations do not extend beyond the small screen (BaronNoir), despite the existence of a veritable “constitutional trial”. The fact that films only look at the criminal aspect of the justice system prevents the development of a constitutional culture and a broader imaginary which would help the citizen-viewer’s understanding of it.
