“Listen to what I saw” Colette as a speaker, a little-known profession of the writer

During her career, and especially between 1908 and 1937, Colette gave numerous lectures. However, little research has yet been done on their particularities. Their success was unanimous, and yet we have few reports: it is the press that often allows us to retrace the career of the lecturer. Colette’s lectures are characterized by a lot of anecdotes, a theatrical dimension, a play with the genre of the tale, all of which unfold in a serpentine line.
