Based on the hypothesis that the poet always expresses himself in Tristan’s work, and taking as a double framework “Les Terreurs nocturnes” and the letter “À Madame de C.,” both written in 1634, this contribution identifies and analyzes several attributes of the poet’s style including an appetite for black spirituality and a ghostly perception of reality.
