This is a review of the most recent collection of poetry by Jean Marc Sourdillon, lectured through the lens of erring and from an ontological perspective: not staying “in” but rather “going to”. This leads to a combination of carpe diem with vanitas vanitatum whispered by a reflexive self who meditates on his time.
