AB  - It is well-known that Joyce as a young man read Verlaine and translated “Chanson ­d’automne” in English. This article tackles the issues of translation and intertexuality. It is meant to be a study of ­Joyce’s ‘‘drifting ­blind’’ from Verlaine.
