AB  - Our study focuses on Angélique and Sylvie. After having established the omnipresence of the culture of writing in these stories, we underline the tendency to devalorize it and, concurrently, the extreme valorization attached to oral culture. We then analyze the textual and plotting of these profuse orality. We conclude our anthropological and linguistic exploration by scrutinizing the ways in which Nerval’s writing seeks this lost aura of a lively and shared orality.
