An introduction by Simone Dubrovic reports on the translation seen as an occasion to reread and reconsider Nerval’s lyrical contribution to modern poetry, while comparing some of its verses to the corresponding ones from the most notable previous Italian translations (Parronchi, Grange Fiori, Macrì).
