AB  - Poetic prose, prose poem: two concepts intertwined but used indistinctly to refer to quite different, even opposite, textual typologies. In this article we want to draw a line of demarcation between the two notions, always on the basis of the generic criteria of the prose poem provided by Suzanne Bernard (1959) in his reference work Le poème en prose de Baudelaire jusqu’à nos jours.
